This project required an interior set with a 'decayed grandeur' feel, as well as an incredibly unique inclusion - a swinging, medieval cage.

I built the set walls, before washing them with warm, dirty tones. This was then layered in lining paper, which was then peeled and torn, before painting and aging. 

​

The props were then outsourced (ornate chandeliers and sofa), apart from the cage - nobody has one of those just lying around it seems. I contacted Dan, an amazing metal fabricator and sent him a brief. Just a few days later, he delivered this stunning addition and the shoot was ready to go. Check out some BTS images below.
